This Shangrila is a plateau land with Lhasa as its capital. Lhasa placed at an elevation of 3,597 Mts. is the second highest capital in the world after La Paz, Bolivia (3,660 Mts.). One of the most magnificent Royal Palaces anywhere in the world - the Potala Palace former home of the Dalai Lamas, is built on top of a rock in 1645 and has over 1000 rooms, 10,000 shrines and 200,000 religious statues.
Day 1:Shanghai - Lhasa (You aslo can take the Train into Tibet) Transport to Shuangliu airport. Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar airport which at a elevation of 3000 meters, drive to Lhasa urban, en route visit Brahmaputra valley, Buddha Sculpture made 11th century and Tibetan village etc. on the drive to Lhasa and check in the Hotel.Free and have rest in this afternoon.Dinner by your self.No tour guide service whole day except the Tibetan guide will pick up you at Lhasa airport, please do not have extreme physical activity.) Day 2:Lhasa Urban Full Day guided Tour Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple , Barkhor Street. Overnight in Lhasa. Day 3:Lhasa - Yangpachen (approximately 100km, at an elevation of 4200m) In the morning, drive to Yangpachen - the hot spring, see the Northern Tibet Grassland, and the Yangpachen geothermal power plant, after lunch drive to Nyainqentanglha, take photos and back Yangpachen, enjoy the hot spring,then drive to Namtso?one of the three holy lakes in Tibet back to Lhasa, and tourists may see the night fair of Lhasa Barkhor Street, or taste the local food. Day 4:Back to Shanghai Depart from Lhasa to Shanghai by flightor By train, end tour.
