Ride through Kathmandu Valley, cut across Himalayas and wave in Yarlungzangbo River Valley up to the north face of Mt Everst can be an unforgotten experience. Day by day itinerary
Day1: Kathmandu-400km-Tingri(4300m)
Enter the Customs at Kodari in Nepali or Zhangmu in Chinese, drive over Lalungla Mountain Pass (5050m) and overnight at guesthouse where there is a nice view of Mt Everst (8848m), Lhotse (8516m) and Cho Oyu(8153).
Day2: Tingri-111km-Rongbuk(5200m)
Base Camp and Mt Everst. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day3: Rongbuk-411km-Xigatze(3800m)
On the way to Sakya Monastery, the premier monastery of Grey Sect or Sakyapa in Tibetan. Xigatze(3800m) is the capital of Rear Tibet, Check-in at Shenghu Hotel or alike
Day4: Xigatze-400km-Lhasa(3700m)
via Gyantse(3900m), the typical Tibetan town to Lhasa. Visits to Pelkor Chode(built in 1418) & Shalu(built in 998).

Day 5 Lhasa Visit
Potala, the largest castle in the world used to be the religio-political center of Old Tibet, the winter palace of Dalai Lama and the cemetery stupas of deceased Dalai Lamas and now it is a great museum of art and teasures.
Jokhang, the final destination of all sects, is where the the building of city and Tibetan Buddhism began.
Norbulinkha, Dalai Lama`s summer palace, gives you some ideas of Dalai Lama`s life and the history of Tibet.
Day 6: Lhasa- Ganden
60km ride to Ganden (built in1409, 3800m high), the premier monastery of Yellow Sect or Geluk in Tibetan.
Vsit to Sera (built in 1419), both subject to Gelik
Day 7: Lhasa-Trupu
Ride to Trupu.the primier monastery of White Sect or Karma Kyagyu in Tibet. Visit to Drepung (built in 1416, the largest of all)
Day 8: Lhasa-Tsethang
Morning 160km ride to Songkha Ferry, 1.5-hour boating across Yarluzangbo and 0.5-hour ride to Samye(built in 8th century), the premier monastery of Red Sect or Nyingma in Tibtan. 30km ride to Tsetang Town(3551m), the cradle of Tibetan civilization, and check-in at Longma Hotel or Yulong Hotel or Post Hotel according to reservation.
Afternoon 12km ride to Yumbulagang (built in 2nd century B.C), 1st Tibetan King¡¯s Castle Via Trandruk Monastery (built in 7th century, subject to Geluk now), in which Pearl Thangkha is kept.
Day 9: Drive to the airport or railway station and exit

1.It is inadvisable for those who suffer from hypertension, cardiopathy and anything unsuitable to alpine areas to take this tour.
2.When ascending an area over 3,000 meters, one may, more or less, suffer from his reaction to the high altitude: dry lips, nose-bleeding, headache, dyspnea, naupathia, vomit, insomnia or something uneasy, which will vanish in a couple of days.
3.Do take along warm clothes, sunglasses, suntan oil, lipstick and anything on standby
4.Drink enough water and avoid running or sports. Yak-butter tea, milk products and bverage with sachalin rhodiola rhizome help one`s acclimation.......
