Day by day itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.
Day 02: Beijing
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at the original, century-old Qianmen Quan Ju De restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L)
Day 03: Beijing
Visit the Badaling Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at shopping site restaurants, you will take car to a popular Sichuan food restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area. (B+L)
Day 04: Beijing - Xian
Visit the Summer Palace. Take flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. Visit the City Wall. A rich buffet dinner will be served for you at the hotel this evening. (B+L)
Day 05: Xian
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Peasant Painting Gallery, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Great Mosque. After you enjoy the local speciality, the Dumpling Banquet, you will be entertained by the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (B+L)
Day 06: Xian - Lhasa
Visit the Provincial History Museum and See off at the Airport to Lhasa.(B+L)
Day 07: Lhasa
Visit the Jokhang Temple, the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street, the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory. Dinner is served at your hotel.(B+L)
Day 08: Lhasa
Visit the magnificent Potala Palace, the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Park and a Tibetan family. Dinner is served at your hotel.(B+L)
Day 09: Lhasa -Chengdu
Morning Flight to Chengdu,visit wuhou temple in the afternoon,enjoy the fantastic sichuan opera at night.(B+L)
Day 10:Chengdu-Chongqing
Vist Giant Panda reserve in the morning,after lunch,shuttle bus transfer to Chongqing,embark ship at about 18:00,lodge in ship(B+L) (4 star cuise)
Day 11: Chongqing - Fengdu
At 08:00 am your memorable Yangtze River tour begins. In the afternoon visit the Ghost City of Fengdu. (B+L)
Day 12: Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping
Visit Badong and take a small junk to enjoy the marvelous spectacles of the nature in the Shennong Stream. Continue sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge. Pass the five-step ship lock. (B+L)
Day 13: Sandouping
Visit the site of China Dam Project. (B+L)
Day 14: Wuhan - Shanghai
At 12:00 arrive in Wuhan. Visit Hubei Provincial Museum. After having lunch at a local famous restaurant, take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
