A 21-Day private tour, which covers the Great Wall and the Terra Cotta Army Wonders, the beautiful garden city - Guilin and also the Kunming, an ancient and mysterious town - the home of ethnic groups in Yunnan province, Shanghai, the representative of modern cities in China and Pingyao Ancient city
Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.
Day 02: Beijing
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)
Day 03: Beijing
Visit the Badaling Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at shopping site restaurants, you will be driven to have Sichuan food at a local popular restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon.The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area. (B+L+D)
Day 04: Beijing - Datong
Visit the Summer Palace, the Lama Temple and the lovely Pandas in Beijing Zoo. Take an overnight soft sleeper train to Datong. (B+L+D)
Day 05: Datong
Arrive in Datong in the morning. After having breakfast at the hotel, visit the Shanhua Monastery, the Nine Dragons Screen and the Hanging Monastery. (B+L)
Day 06: Datong - Taiyuan
Visit the Yungang Grottoes. Take a soft sleeper train to Taiyuan and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 07: Taiyuan
Visit the Double Pagoda Temple and the Chongshan Temple. The afternoon is free. (B+L)
Day 08: Taiyuan - Pingyao
Drive to Pingyao and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Qiao Family's compound, Shuanglin Monastery, the City Wall and the Ming - Qing Street. (B+L)
Day 09: Pingyao - Taiyuan - Xian
Visit the Ri Sheng Chang Financial House, the Tongxinggong ancient bank safeguard and the Courtyard Residence. Drive to Taiyuan and take an overnight soft sleeper train to Xian. (B+L+D)
Day 10: Xian
Pick you up at Xian Railway Station. After having breakfast at the hotel, visit the Provincial History Museum .The a la carte lunch is served at a local famous restaurant. Visit the Great Mosque and a local family. A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served for you at the hotel this evening. (B+L+D)
Day 11: Xian
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. This evening you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in Tang Dynasty Palace.(B+L+D)
Day 12: Xian - Kunming
Take a flight to Kunming and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Flowers and Birds Market and the Golden Palace. (B+L)
Day 13: Kunming - Lijiang
Visit the Stone Forest. Take a flight to Lijiang and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 14: Lijiang
Visit the Baisha Village and a local Naxi family, the Baisha Murals, the Rock Joseph's Former Residence in Yuhu Village. You can explore the old town by yourselves in the afternoon. Enjoy the Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at Dongba Palace in the evening after dinner. (B+L+D)
Day 15: Lijiang - Kunming - Guilin
The morning is free. Take an afternoon flight to Kunming and connect flight in Kunming to Guilin by yourselves. Pick you up at Guilin airport and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy Ethnic Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre after dinner. (B+D)
Day 16: Guilin - Yangshuo
Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Transfer to the hotel. A short bicycle trip to the countryside will then be arranged. You will visit a local villager's home to experience the farmer's lifestyle there. Alternatively, you can take our electric car instead of taking bicycles. (B+L)
Day 17: Yangshuo - Guilin - Shanghai
Transfer back to Guilin. Visit the Reed Flute Cave, the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Fubo Hill. Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 18: Shanghai
Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. The special flavor dinner is served at Central Hotel, whose restaurant Wang Bao He has a history of around 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. The memorable dinner will be followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. (B+L+D)
Day 19: Shanghai - Suzhou
Take a soft seat train to Suzhou and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Garden of the Master of the Nets, the Tiger Hill and the Humble Administrator's Garden. (B+L)
Day 20: Suzhou - Shanghai
Take a soft seat train back to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. The afternoon is free. (B)
Day 21: Departure from Shanghai
See off. (B)
