A 14-Day private tour, which covers the Great Wall and the Terra Cotta Army Wonders in Beijing and Xian separately, the commercial center - Shanghai, the minority wonder Kunming, Dali and Lijiang, you will experience the luring itinerary to seek folkways of Lijiang residents and spiritual mood in the Old Naxi City, and to explore the ethnic folk customs.
Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.
Day 02: Beijing
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)
Day 03: Beijing
Visit the Badaling Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at shopping site restaurants, you will be driven to have Sichuan food at a local popular restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area. (B+L+D)
Day 04: Beijing - Xian
Visit the Summer Palace and the Lama Temple. Take a flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served for you at the hotel this evening. (B+L+D)
Day 05: Xian
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at awell-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. This evening you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in Tang Dynasty Palace. Day 06: Xian
Visit the Provincial History Museum. After enjoying the a la carte lunch at a local famous restaurant, visit the Great Mosque and a local family. (B+L)
Day 07: Xian - Kunming
Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi on the way to the airport. After lunch, take a flight to Kunming and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 08: Kunming
Visit the Stone Forest and the Golden Palace. (B+L)
Day 09: Kunming - Dali
Take a flight to Dali and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Erhai Lake Park, the Three Pagoda, the South Gate of the Dali ancient town and transfer to Foreigner Street. You can let your guide/driver go home and have the dinner by yourselves. (B+L)
Day 10: Dali - Lijiang
Drive to Lijiang, visit a local market, the tie-dying in Zhoucheng and the Yan's Compound of Bai Minority in Xizhou. Transfer to the hotel. (B+L)
Day 11: Lijiang
Visit the Baisha Village and a local Naxi family, the Baisha Murals, the Rock Joseph's Former Residence in Yuhu Village. The afternoon is free for you to explore the Old Town by yourselves. Enjoy the Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at Dongba Palace in the evening after dinner. (B+L+D)
Day 12: Lijiang - Shanghai
The morning is free. Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer you to the hotel. (B)
Day 13: Shanghai
Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. The Farewell Dinner is served at Central Hotel, whose restaurant Wang Bao He has a history of around 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. The memorable dinner will be followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. (B+L+D)
Day 14: Departure from Shanghai
