Day 1
Destination: Arrival at Lhasa
Highlights: Acclimatization
accommodations: Twin sharing room ,3-Star hotel
Trip detail: Arrive at Lhasa by train/airplane,capital of the mystical Buddhist Kingdom of Tibet. Our experienced guide and driver will meet you at the airport or train station presenting Tibetan Traditional Hada ceremony,then transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure for you to relax and acclimatization.
Day 2
Destination: Lhasa city
Highlights: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Tibet Medical Factory,Barkhor Street
accommodations: Twin sharing room ,3-Star hotel
Meal: Breakfast
Trip detail: Potala Palace built in the 7th century by the famous Tibetan king,Songtzen Gampo. It became known as the "Winter Palace" by the 1750, when the 7th Dalai Lama built the Norbulingka Park as his summer residence.
After lunch,visit Jokhang Temple, situated in the old section of Lhasa. King Songtzen Gampo built this temple in the mid-7th century A.D. Then visit the traditional Tibet Medical Factory to witness how the miraculous Tibetan medicine was produced.
After Supper, you are suggested to ramble over Barkhore Street.It's a famous local handmade crafts market. You can buy some souvenir there for your friends back home.
Day 3
Destination: Lhasa city
Highlights: Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Tibetan Museum
accommodations: Twin sharing room ,3-Star hotel
Meal: Breakfast
Trip detail: We will begin our tour at Drepung Monastery which is used to be the most large monastery in Tibet where lodged more than 10000 monks at its summit in the morning.
After that, you will visit the Sera Monastery which is famous for its Buddhism scriptures debating in the afternoon. You will finish today's activity after visit the Tibetan Museum, the exhibition center of Tibetan traditional handicrafts.
Day 4
Destination: Lhasa/Shigatse
Highlights: Yamdrok Lake, Pelkhor Monastery
accommodations: Twin sharing room ,3-Star hotel
Meal: Breakfast
Trip detail: Drive to Gyantse after breakfast. On the way, Yamdrok-tso Lake can be seen from the summit of the Kamba-la pass (4794m). Yamdrok is one of Three Holy Lake in Tibet (the other two are Namtso Lake and Lake manasarovar). When you arrive at Gyantse, visit Pelkor Chode Monastery. The Monastery is founded in 1418, notable for its superb Kumbum Chode(10,000 Images Stupa). Arrive at Shigatse later for rest.
Day 5
Destination: Shigatse/Rongbuk monastery
Highlights: Tashilunpo Monastery, Rongbuk Monastery
accommodations: Guest house
Meal: Breakfast
Trip detail: Early morning start driving to Rongphu via Lhatse and Shegar after visit Tashilunpo Monastery, cross over Gyatsola & Pangla Pass, where you will see the Himalaya mountain ranges in a clear day.
Rongphu is the highest monastery in Tibet, still a good point to see Mt.Everest. Afternoon start trekking from Rongphu to E.B.C, it takes about 2 hours. Or you can take a local sight seeing bus (pay by yourself).
Day 6
Destination: Rongbuk monastery/EBC/Zhangmu
Highlights: EBC Sunrise
accommodations: Twin sharing room ,2-Star hotel
Trip detail: If you are lucky enough, you will see sunrise at E.B.C. Then drive to Zhangmu Town.
Day 7
Destination: Zhangmu–cross Friendship Bridge
Highlights: Depart Lhasa
Meal: Breakfast
Trip detail: Cross the Friendship Bridge, get to Nepal

1. Minor program changes sometimes are necessary, depending on road conditions, weather and availability of room.

3. As we travel in Tibet area where the economy is much more backward than other places, the food alternative is limited, so we suggest you take some solid food.
4. The quotation is based on double-occupancy, if there is no one to share the room with you, you should pay the single supplement.
