Xiangtan Xiangtan County is located in the middle of Hunan province ,bordering Zhuzhou on its east and Hengyang on its south. Dishuidong Cave Named as “ Westen Cave ” by Maozedong ,is famous due to Maozedong’s legendary life and stories .The Dishuidong Villa was built on July ,18 of 1966 ,Maozedong spent eleven days here during the time he returned to Shaoshan . Scenic Area of Shaofeng Peak is located to the south of the Former Residence of Maozedong ,with altitude of 520 meters .It is the highest peak of shaoshan Mountain and one of the peak among 72 peaks of Hengshan Mountain .
