Bore Temple Located at People‘s Square in the city center, the 7,200-square-meter temple was built in 1932 and was renamed as Huguo Bore Temple in 1934. As the largest temple in Changchun City, it was approved by the State Council as a key site under state protection. There are drum and bell towers on the left and right sides in the temple. In the front is Lokapala Hall, consecrated to Amitabha, with four warrior attendants standing at the two sides. 　　 The grand Great Buddha‘s Hall is the center of the whole temple. Saky amuni, founder of Buddhism, sits in the center, with 18 arhats standing on both sides. Mother Buddha is consecrated behind the Buddha‘s hall. The next building is the hall for preserving Buddhist scriptures. The number of tourists reaches tens of thousands on April 8, 18 and 28 of lunar calendar.      Photo Album of Jilin
