Guizhou Provincial Museum The Provincial Museum doesn’t see many visitors,which is a shame because the displays are really interesting. Exhibits include various aspects of the province’s minorities, such as traditional dress and customs from the Yelang kingdom; an ancient kingdom believed to have originated in the Warring States Period (475BC – 221BC). Also interesting is the small collection dating back to the 18th and 19th century when the Miao staged a series of uprisings in protest against the rapid immigration of Han Chinese into Guizhou.      Photo Album of Guizhou
